These earrings measure 3/4 inch long, including the stainless steel ball. They are 7/16 inch wide, or about 11mm. Dime shown for scale.
The post ear wires have a 4mm stainless steel ball and come with the earring backs.
Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not tarnish or rust, and is easy to care for. I only use high quality saw cut jump rings in my jewelry which allow for smooth closures that won't snag your hair or clothing.
