Five anodized aluminum chainmail scales were hand woven together using silver aluminum jump rings to create this beautiful lesbian pride pendant. There is one scale of each color of the 5 color sunset flag - dark orange, light orange, white (represented here with matte silver), medium pink, and hot pink. A stainless steel bail is securely attached and will accommodate most thinner chains.
The pendant measures 2 inches (5.1cm) including the stainless steel bail. It is 9/16 inch (1.4cm) wide. Each scale measures 7/8 inch (2.2cm) in length and 9/16 inch (1.4cm) in width. Dimes shown for scale.

Aluminum is a lightweight metal that will not tarnish or rust, and is easy to care for. The colors of anodized aluminum can be scratched by harder metals, please take care when storing your jewelry. I only use high quality saw cut jump rings in my jewelry which allow for smooth closures that won't snag your hair or clothing.
